After School Art Class - Thursdays

This after school art class starts at 4.30pm until 6pm.

This is a 1.5 hour art class for school aged children.

Annie, your tutor, focuses on a friendly, fun and social environment for your child to learn how to paint using acrylics. Over the course of a few weeks your child will develop their very own painting to a finished standard that they are happy with and take it home to hang on your wall and be proud of their achievements, alternatively, you could bring your child for a one off fun activity.

In these classes children will learn a few different painting techniques using acrylic paint in class. This will develop into their chosen theme for their desired painting over the coming weeks. It is a mental release for your child where they will discover new mediums to work with. This could include air dried and polymer clay for jewelry making or sculptures, mixed media for scrap booking, building fairy houses and more.

Annie believes that children should be encouraged to use their imagination and self expression to explore with their hands and to learn how to create what their mind sees.

This is a small class of between 6 and 10 children maximum. Seats are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Each class includes all materials.
