An exhibition with two themes: the struggle native plants have to survive in an environment damaged by humans; and the global struggle women have to be seen as more than housewives. Subtle humour, strong bold imagery.

The artist is a professional botanist, very concerned that, of the 22 New Zealand brooms, only three are not on the national threatened plant list.
