Zappo the Magician

Come along to enjoy some awesome magical and free entertainment from one of New Zealand's top performers.

Zappo The Magician has enjoyed performing as a full time children’s entertainer for the last 19 years. In October 2015, he won New Zealand's Top Children's Entertainer Award, voted by the Variety Artists Club. At the 30th New Zealand International Magicians Convention in 2010 he was awarded “Best Children’s Entertainer”. In 2012 he won Best Stage act at the 31st International Magicians convention.

As part of our Summer Reading programme, supported by The Eastern and Central Reading Encouragement and Development Network, Zappo will be touring all of our libraries in January 2019.
Best suited for children aged 4 to 12 years.
