e2; Young Engineers is all about having fun while learning and it's here in Waikato, New Zealand! A programme that is enjoyable for both girls and boys, children will learn about the basic principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Physics by building motorised Lego models - how cool is that!
An internationally reknown programme that is changing the way children think about science, physics, engineering and mechanics, Young Engineers has been developed in Israel and is taught in over 15 countries around the world. We're excited to bring it to New Zealand and deliver the programme in schools including kura kaupapa Māori, community centres, marae and churches in the Waikato and South Auckland regions.
Young Engineers can be taught during school hours as part of the science and technology curriculum. We also teach Young Engineers as an after school lesson (1 lesson/week) and also during the school holidays (see Squiggle Holiday Programme - www.squiggle.org.nz).
