YMCA Dance, Cheer and Tumbling Day

Our 1/2 day programme is designed for children wanting the full experience of dance making. Children will spend time developing skills in a few different styles with focus on fun with the correct technique. But that’s not all! We will develop artistry by creating personalised choreography for an end of the morning performance! This day is perfect for beginners and experienced dancers, 5 -13 years of age/ability will be catered for.

Calling all boys, girls, kids, and tweens! These school holidays we’re opening the doors of YMCA Hamilton for Cheer & Tumble for our ½ day holiday programme, packed with activities for everyone.

We’re doing skills from cheerleading to tumbling to a routine. Come join us for the afternoon for this adventure where you’ll learn new skills, make new friends, and put your energy towards something fun!

Ages 5 – 13 years old

**If both sessions are booked (per child) a $10 discount applies making a whole day of dance, cheer and tumbling activities for only $50 which includes before and after session care for this specialised day.

*Care provided before the 1/2 day dance morning session (7:30-8:30am) and at the end of the 1/2 day Cheer and Tumble afternoon session (4:30-5:30pm) for no extra charge.

All our staff are police vetted and hold current training in child safe policies and most have first aid training certificates too. We are Ministry of Social Development audited and approved to ensure compliance with national standards.

We are approved for the provision of WINZ subsidies should you qualify for that assistance too.
We are also the only organisation in New Zealand to be accredited child safe.
