Workshop - The Perfection of Wisdom, Understanding Reality

Geshe Jampa Tharchin is a Tibetan monk who has been studying and teaching Buddhist philosophy and meditation for over 25 years. He is currently the resident teacher at Chandrakirti Meditation Centre in Upper Moutere, Nelson.

Geshe Jampa Tharchin will hold a morning workshop investigating Wisdom and how things exist.
The Buddhist notion of wisdom, right understanding, or Special Insight, let's us see things as they really are. Wisdom allows us to distinguish right from wrong, a beneficial productive path from a destructive one, and to create the conditions for ultimate happiness.

How can we remove ignorance and illusion and utilise the practices of generosity, patience, ethics, enthusiasm, and focus, so that they contribute to the Perfection of Wisdom?
Geshe la will share his personal experiences in how to cultivate inner happiness with advice, discussion, and guided meditation.

All warmly welcome, no prior experience or knowledge necessary.
