Winter Opera with Filipe Manu & Natasha Wilson

Join us for a night of 'beautiful opera' performed by New Zealand's talented classical singers 'Filipe Manu' and 'Natasha Wilson.'

Filipe Manu - chosen as an artist for the London based Samling Artist programme for the 2018/2019 intake. Filipe was the 2016 Lexus Song Quest runner up A former Dame Malvina Major Emerging Artist with New Zealand Opera, he was selected for both the inaugural Dame Malvina Major Opera programme and the Dame Kiri Te Kanawa Foundation Singers' Development programme

Natasha Wilson - Born and raised in Auckland, Natasha Wilson (Te Arawa / Ngāpuhi), studied at the University of Auckland, graduating with a Bachelor of Music (Hons, first-class) majoring in Classical Vocal Performance in 2016.

2018 she commenced post-graduate studies at the elite San Francisco Conservatory of Music in the U.S. is grateful for the support of the Kiri Te Kanawa Foundation as a participant The Kiri Programme, a mentoring programme initiated by the Foundation to foster the next generation of New Zealand's operatic voices. Natasha also enjoys the support of the Dame Malvina Major Foundation, as a Dame Malvina Major emerging artist with New Zealand Opera for 2018.
