Wine Tasting Evening - Matawhero Wines

Join Kirsten Searle, owner and winemaker at Matawhero Wines in Gisbourne, as she presents her range of delectable wines on Wednesday, 26 June 2019 at The Pizza Library Mount, 314 Maunganui Road, Mt. Maunganui .

Gisbourne's good spring rainfall and long dry summers, combined with both alluvial and heavier clay soils, allow Kirsten alongside her husband Richard to dry farm their vineyards. Growing grapes with natural rainfall created their distinctive fruit-driven wines with weight and intensity.

There will be a wide array of wines to be tasted and will be served with a generous charcuterie sharing platter to serve your gastronomic needs.
