One New Zealand

A morning for students dedicated to understanding what the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals are and how they apply to Aotearoa. This morning will start with a presentation of the UN Goals and will be closely followed by Sam Judd, co-founder of Sustainable Coastlines, talking about their impact on water and land around New Zealand’s coasts. The No Waste Nomads, Liam and Hannah, will discuss their mission to get New Zealand to become a fully circular economy. This will be followed up by workshops to get you to design the 2050 you want to see and look at which goals inspire you to change.

If you’re a student, teacher or parent and interested in participating in this session, email us at info@onenewzealand.co.nz.

PLANT A TREE - We have two off-set partners this year, the WAKATIPU REFORESTATION TRUST and TE KAKANO AOTEAROA TRUST. Part of our profits will go to these two amazing organisations. If you want to help regenerate our incredible district, we’ve also set up a tree registry with TREES THAT COUNT. By donating to the registry, you’re putting more native trees into the ground, helping not only reduce our footprint but also providing habitat for our feathered neighbours.
