Come along to Wellington Zinefest 2019 to check out the diverse array of self-published creations Te Whanganui-a-Tara has to offer!

This year, Zinefest will be spread over an entire weekend! To cater to our ever-expanding community of zine-makers, we are splitting the market over two days and adding in a couple of social events for good measure.

We'll kick things off on Friday 15th of November, with some evening drinks and a short film double-feature.

The first market day will be on Saturday 16th November.
We'll have an accessibility hour from 11am-12pm, for people who (for whatever reason) find it tricky to enjoy Zinefest when it's crowded. The market will open fully from 12pm-4pm.

On Saturday night, we're having a !!Mid-Party!! (after-parties are like, so passé). Come have a bev and a boogie to some awesome local music (line-up TBA).

Sunday 17th November will be market day round 2! It will have a very similar schedule to Saturday (accessibility hour 11am-12pm, general access 12pm-4pm), but with a whole new cohort of stallholders. Make sure you come along to both days to see the full array of zines on offer! We'll be announcing Best of Fest on Sunday afternoon to wrap up the festival.

Registration:
Stallholder registration will open October 1st and close 31st October. We are hoping to have room for every single person who wants a stall this year, but applying earlier in the month rather than later is always helpful for us.

In the registration form, you will be able to let us know if you would prefer to have your stall on the Saturday or Sunday.

Stalls cost $10 each (to cover table hire costs) and are all the same size (half-tables, like 2018).

Kids' table:
The kids' table was such an awesome feature of Zinefest 2018, so we're bringing it back! This table is for any kid who would like to sell their zine at Zinefest, but doesn't want a whole stall for themselves. The Zinefest Committee will facilitate this stall, and submitters are welcome to hang out and help sell their zines with us.

Access:
Te Auaha is a super new building, so has pretty good physical access. All events (gig included) will be on the first story which is accessible via lift. There are parking buildings at 28 Bond Street and 26 Marion Street, as well as a bunch of parks on Victoria Street by Left Bank Arcade.

If you have questions about accessibility or worries about anything that might stop you being able to attend/enjoy the festival, please flick us a message and we'll do our best to find a solution.

Conduct:
Wellington Zinefest is committed to being an inclusive, safe environment. We expect all our participants and attendees to be mindful of our code of conduct: http://wellingtonzinefest.blogspot.com/2017/11/were-introducing-code-of-conduct.html

Our super kick-ass poster was designed by The King Kez.
