Preparations for the region’s largest Business Expo are well underway with the event to be held at the brand new Lower Hutt Events Centre on the 7th of May.

With over 100 exhibitors and 2000 visitors expected, the one day event promises to bring a wealth of business knowledge and expertise together. It will be a ‘must attend” for anyone who owns, operates or works in a business in the region.

Details of the event, exhibitors, seminar speakers and sponsors are profiled online at the website and https://www.facebook.com/WellingtonRegionBusinessExpo/. The event promises to be an outstanding day showcasing and connecting businesses and business people from across the whole region.

The Lower Hutt Events Centre is a fabulously large, modern space for the main exhibition areas, various meeting spaces, exhibitors’ lounge and three excellent seminar rooms. There is the large Tutaki Café right on site, and the venue opens out onto the newly developed Riddiford Gardens. With it all being on one level it is the perfect space for the event. It is going to work very well for both exhibitors and visitors.

In its ninth year, the Wellington Region Business Expo has a full programme of business events and activities planned. Scheduled for Tuesday 7th May, the Expo will span a full 12 hours, opening at 7.30am with a Business Breakfast with well-known Economist Bernard Hickey hosted by Mediaworks. Three streams of business seminars will run throughout the day, on the hour every hour.

The Expo will wind down with a mega business networking event and prize giving. The new location ensures plenty of parking and entry to the Expo is free. The Business Breakfast and evening networking event will be fully catered and will include a cover charge. People are welcome to attend whichever parts of the day they like.
