Enjoy a fun day out on Waitangi Day at Highwic. Located in the heart of Newmarket, explore the sprawling home and expansive grounds of this Victorian Carpenter Gothic gem that was once the home to the Buckland family for over 100 years.
On Waitangi Day our visits can expect to find a pop-up cafe serving Devonshire teas and partake in Victorian lawn games such as croquet, stilts, skittles, hopscotch and petanque. View our impressive display of flags showcasing the history of the flag in New Zealand and learn about the unique stories behind them.
Entry is free, parking on site is limited. Devonshire tea $8.00 per person.
