The University of Waikato Chamber Orchestra conducted by James Tennant presents its Autumn Concert featuring three outstanding and important master works. Two of these works will highlight two of the University's Conservatorium of Music's most prominent performers, Internationally acclaimed and much loved pianist Katherine Austin and award winner and National Concerto Finalist, cellist Hyein Kim.
Katherine will delight us with the exquisite Mozart Piano Concerto in A major, K.488 while Hyein Kim will be dazzling us with his rendition of Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme. After interval, Beethoven's dramatic and inspirational 5th Symphony in C minor.
