Ukrainian Community of Wellington invites you to the Ukrainian Cultural Festival.
Come and experience our traditions and culture, enjoy Ukrainian music, dance, songs, fun activities for children, and our traditional cuisine.
Programme:
11:30 am Doors open
12:00 pm – 1:30 pm Act 1: Live entertainment
• Folk music
• Traditional Ukrainian songs and dance
• Raffle draw
1:30 pm – 2:00 pm Intermission
2:00 pm – 4 pm Act 2: Live entertainment continues
4 pm Festival ends
Enjoy bright and engaging performances of Wellington talents as well as those of our special guests from overseas.
Experience the beautiful sound of bandura – traditional Ukrainian musical instrument.
Learn more about Ukraine, its people and culture through an exhibition presented during the Festival.
Bring your children with you and let them experience Ukrainian culture through various activities and workshops: thread-doll making, traditional fine art techniques, musical performance etc.
Entrance fee $5 (children under 14 free).
