One of the most iconic films of all time, James Cameron’s Titanic is on screen in the Perpetual Guardian Planetarium.
The epic story, starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo Di Caprio as Rose and Jack, is set against the ill-fated maiden voyage of the RMS Titanic; the pride and joy of the White Star Line – the 'ship of dreams' – which ultimately carried more than 1500 people to their death in the icy-cold waters of the North Atlantic in the early hours of 15 April 1912.
Bring your tissues, and sit back in the comfort of our reclined seats and revel in one of the most tragic big screen romances.
M – Low level offensive language. Run time 3h 15m. Popcorn and drinks will be available for purchase. There will be a 15 minute intermission during this show.
The Cameron Collection screens on the first Thursday of each month (except January) during the James Cameron – Challenging the Deep exhibition. You can see costumes and props from the film in the exhibition during Museum hours (ticketed entry).
