Those Lethals

Come along to catch Those Lethals on their Spring Tour leading up the release of their new single "Thrill of the Hunt" in October.

Those Lethals are an indie pop-rock band from Auckland. Their melodic hooks are clean and catchy from first listen but the carefully crafted combinations of electric guitar, trumpet, keys, and double bass give their sound an inventiveness which can play wild or subdued in equal measure. Their songwriting is expressive at either end of the spectrum from jubilant cacophony of soaring horn lines atop driving percussion and lyrical guitar to layered melancholic ballads. Those Lethals set the thematic tone very much in the current social and political climate. While there are personal stories of hits to the head and heart, the overall tone attempts to reconcile identity and purpose within the world at this point in time.

Local favourite Ash Laforteza Music will be joining us for the night with her signature soulful originals combining her rasp-filled, powerful voice with rhythmic acoustic guitar.
