With a curtsey and a wink to Cupid and the God of Love, The Tudor Consort kicks off its 2019 season with Chansons d’Amour, a selection of Renaissance madrigals celebrating love and romance.
Performed in the intimate Martinborough Town Hall, this recital will feature works from masters such as Weelkes, Lassus, Josquin and Gesualdo ranging from the lovesick to the flirtatious (and reasonably scandalous!).
