The Troubles

The Troubles, a Wellington based jazz band led by drummer John Rae, raised the roof at the Matakana Hall when they played at our final concert of the season in 2014. There was not a spare seat in the house.

This year they will be playing the final concert of our 2019 season at Warkworth Town Hall - which thankfully has a greater seating capacity. From the coarse to the sublime, the emotive to the absurd, their music is inventive, passionate, honest and wholly life affirming.

Te Rata Wines will provide a bar serving a range of local wines, ciders, craft beers and non-alcoholic sodas.

Payment for drinks can be made by cash or EFTPOS,.but payment for tickets at the door is by cash only.
