The #GreatKereruCount starts later this week. To celebrate, 300 kōwhai trees are being given away at the main entrance to the lower Dunedin Botanic Garden on Saturday, 21 September from 10am till we run out of trees (or 3pm). Plant one at home to help feed kererū and attract native birds to your garden.

Thanks @DepartmentofConservation’s Project Gold for sponsoring the giveaway.

Come pick up a tree, get information about the Great Kererū Count 2019 and find out about funding opportunities for your native planting project. And don’t forget to sign up for the Great Kereru Count at www.greatkererucount.nz.
