The Chats

Sunshine Coast pub/punk rockers, The Chats, came in hot with probably the most relatable song of 2017, 'Smoko'.

The cracker of a tune is an ode to the nationally-familiar worksite break known as "smoko" which involves a durry, maybe a tea and most likely a pie. (Fittingly... the song was conceived on the way to purchase a pie).

Within 20 hours of uploading the video, it quickly became a viral sensational and currently sits at just over 5 million views on YouTube!

The Chats announced their first New Zealand tour which will include Auckland, Mt. Maunganui, Raglan, Wellington and Queenstown plus O Week shows at Otago and Lincoln University! They recently sold out their Auckland show (but quickly added a new date for those slow pokes out there) so get in quick!
