The BASH - Wheelchair Rugby

Bay of Plenty Wheelchair Rugby & Parafed Bay of Plenty, in conjunction with New Zealand Wheelchair Rugby (NZWR) are pleased to be hosting the fun and entertaining BASH event.

This is the first tournament for the NZ Wheelchair Rugby season and is incorporated into the Festival of Disability Sport. Last year, this event had twenty competitors from all over NZ going head to head against friends and usual team mates, supported by at least another twenty officials and volunteers.

We acknowledge and thank the support from NZ Wheelchair Rugby, BOP Wheelchair Rugby, Parafed Bay of Plenty, volunteers and supporters contributing to our sport, allowing this competition to take place. Wheelchair rugby is a game to be enjoyed by everyone and there is a role for everyone.
