The Rochelle Spence Dance Studio will present 'Tales of Pooh Bear' as the main part of their annual dance recital on Saturday 30th April at the Napier Municipal Theatre with performances at 2pm and 7pm.

The students will provide a colourful dance drama based on the popular AA Milne stories. The senior students will take on the roles of Pooh Bear, Christopher Robin, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Kanga and Rabbit while the younger students will perform in large colourful groups of Baby Bears, Balloon Girls, Piglets, Thistle Patch, Bees, Little Tiggers, Rabbits, young Eeoyres, young Christopher Robins and Sky.

The audience will follow Pooh Bear on his adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood. The dancers will perform to a diverse selection of music and the stage will be set with scenery constructed by local contemporary artist, Ken Sando.
