The contemporary Taiwan performing arts are both traditional and innovative; it reaches deep to our culture and interact with other art types. In recent years, A Cappella and circus arts have become the most popular two performing art genres in Taiwan. They are both mobile with no space limits, and can touch people’s hearts easily. “Taiwan Vocal and Acrobatic Feast” combines A Cappella and circus arts that will bring a feast to your eyes and your ears.
Voices of Taiwan: Using A Cappella to present Taiwan’s unique music in different languages
Semiscon’s repertoire includes songs in Mandarin, Taiwanese, Hakka and aborigine languages. With the help of theatrical performance, we want our audience to appreciate Taiwanese culture; with the purest instrument, our voices, we want to voice for Taiwan and touch our audience.
Motions of Taiwan: The mesmerizing circus art will take your breaths away
Two of the world-renowned Taiwanese circus artists, Tun-Ti Chao and Yang, will be performing with the cubes and cyr wheels. This is their first time cooperating with Semiscon. They proudly present the show that put name on the map incorporating Taiwanese culture.
