Following strong interest in the Creative Transitions Sustainability Forum last May, Colin Meurk returns for a series on designing steps to sustainable futures.

We will commence with a brief review of the ground covered previously, updated with the growing literature on the state and trend of world health indicators and models.

Importantly and urgently we will apply our collective knowledge, experience and wisdom to imagining and designing stepping stones or realistic transitions to those dreamed-of futures – addressing ecological, socio-cultural, economic, engineering, technological and spiritual dimensions.

We will have facilitators and integrators to guide group and plenary discussions and experts on hand to answer specific questions. We will confront issues at a local, regional, national and global scale.

Will this effort, however small on the world stage, just disappear into the ether of good intentions? No; we will digest and write it up – together with colleagues from around the world – and submit to a wider international forum.

Never before have these questions and a need for answers or solutions been so critical. Let’s make our contribution along with the many other initiatives people of good will are taking at personal or collective levels.

Let’s take it to the next level.

Course fee includes pizza and refreshments for each of the 3 evenings!
