It wouldn’t be Auckland Live Summer in the Square without a sensational music line-up, and this summer is no exception. Music-man extraordinaire, Matthew Crawley has gone and blown us all out of the water with an eclectic range of musical acts to enjoy in Aotea Square.

If you’re a music nerd or you simply love a cool beverage in the sun while the sweet sounds of live music sizzle in the background, come on down to the Square and make the most of this free music programme. It’s going to be a scorcher!

Tibor is the new three piece band helmed by Hopetoun Brown’s lead singer, Tim Stewart. He’s put down the horns and strapped on a bass to bring you some new tunes aimed squarely at your feet. Helping to keep you on the dance floor are the incomparable Finn Scholes (Carnivorous Plant Society) with a formidable stack of analog synthesisers, and the mighty Chris O’Connor (Phoenix Foundation and many more...) on drums and percussion.

It’s funky. It’s post punky and krauty. It’s whatever your feet need, Sugar! Get on up!
