Summer Do 2019: Dynamic Ceramics with Matt McLean

Take hand-building to the next level with experienced sculptor, Matt McLean. This course will focus on creating large-scale clay sculptures, with an emphasis on modules and segmentation. Experiment with surface treatments, including printing, molding and inlaying. Matt is an innovative thinker and problem-solver, with many clever and valuable tricks up his sleeves.

*Please note this workshop does not include firing of your creation. Arrangements can be made regarding this.

What’s included: 4x 20kg bags of Mac’s Mud clay, tuition.
What you need to bring: Clay tools, any additives or materials you want to use, ideas! Old clothes to work in.
