“Stage Lights" – Music for the Theatre.
The BOIS May 4th concert is a departure from our usual classical repertoire with a programme of popular music written for the theatre.
The Merry Widow; Songs by Verdi and Puccini; Gondoliers; Oklahoma; Les Misérables, Cabaret and Chess.
Soloists Tania Priebs (soprano) and Ipu Laga’aia (tenor).
As usual the choir will be joined by a guest orchestra with pianist Michael Bell.
