The Splash Break Away programme focuses on youth aged between 11- 17 years of age. The programme provides activities in and around the water environment and increases knowledge, awareness, and water competence.
Increasing knowledge and awareness of the water environment will help to reduce risky behaviour in youth. It is important to equip youth with aquatic skills, as they will act as role models to their friends and family. They will help to develop a culture of water safety.
Week One
