Planetarium Show
We know it can be tricky to get out and about with little ones, So, to make life easier, we’re holding regular Baby on Board sessions in the Perpetual Guardian Planetarium.
Our youngest visitors are invited to come and enjoy a show in the planetarium with their parents and caregivers. We know it can be hard to sit for a long time when you're little, so you’re be welcome to duck in and out as needed.
This session, we’ll be taking off on an adventure in our popular pre-schoolers programme, Spacetronauts.
Hitch a ride with our planetarium pilots on an adventure through the solar system. Take a close-up look at the sun, fly through the rings of Saturn, and hold on to your helmets as we zoom out to the edges of the galaxy.
This show is aimed at under sevens and explores the wonders of our solar system through a live, interactive adventure.
The show is 45 minutes long and is open to children of all ages.
Make it a Tūhura Combo, and visit our science centre. It has 45 hands-on interactives, including a giant DNA helix-inspired slide, and a three-level tropical butterfly forest.
11:30am, Tuesday 27 August
Entry is free for those under three years when accompanied by a paying adult, and children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
