Sounds of Summer 2019: Hiwinui School

MPR's Sounds of Summer returns for 2019, and we're hitting the road and exploring the region, celebrating creativity and community in Manawatū.

This second event is supporting the annual Hiwinui School picnic and everyone is welcome! There will be plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their picnics and local musicians and creatives.

Between 2 and 5pm you will hear a broad range of local talent from Jennifer's Garden(Jennifer Moss Music), Bill Angus and the Mighty Ways, The Sue Pugmire Jazz Combo and The Travelling Lounge Room.

There will also be visual artists Keli.J Art and GemJam creating artworks that will be exhibited on the 10th of March at Joe McMenamin's Art Gallery and Studio in Feilding.
