MPR's Sounds of Summer returns for 2019, and we're hitting the road and exploring the region, celebrating creativity and community in Manawatū.

This fourth event is supporting the Apiti Family Mountain Bike Ride Challenge and will entertain everyone, including participants in the challenge as they cross the finish line! Supporters can get the picnics out ready for the entertainment from local musicians and creatives.

Between 12 and 3pm you will hear a broad range of local talent from Shay, Ceol Manawatu, Still Undecided, and Midnight Switch. There will also be visual artists Katie Wilson-Bryant in The Stable and Paula Clare King creating artworks that will be exhibited on the 10th of March at Joe Mcmenamin's Art Gallery and Studio in Feilding.

Bring a picnic and join us in supporting Manawatū's talent and creativity!
For more information, please visit mpr.nz and click on Sounds of Summer!

None of this would be possible without the support of Manawatu District Council, Creative Communities NZ, UCOL, St Peter's College, Makino Aquatic Centre, and Bubbles Champagne & Wine Bar.
