Unknown Radio and The Common Room are poised to bring you a night of skankin' reggae, dub, dancehall and ska rocking vibes. We're running the grooves across 2 different DJ driven music zones, one upbeat and one super mellow, with 6 longtime reggae Selectors droppin' choice cuts all night long.

James Faction - a dubhead from Wellington, James will journey up to the Bay to share his musical treasures. James has rocked dancefloors in Wellington for over 25 years and has produced his own jungle and dub music. This man has skills.

Funk Muscle brings his heavy hitting roots and reggae jams for lovers. Swing low and deep is an understatement. With a lifetime spent following, finding and collecting music this dude brings the heat.

Pereri King - local Bay musician in his own right and bringer of the vocal jams over the top of the dubs. He has a sweet taste for reggae that travels across many styles. If we're lucky Pereri will pick up the mic and add his smooth vocals to some tracks.

B//Rad - a committed dancehall and bottom heavy rhythms devotee, Brad brings the biggest rub-a-dub, ska and dancehall skanks this side of Te Awamutu. His jump up reggae styles will have you movin' n groovin'. You'll also catch him in the chill zone dropping blissful deep vibes that'll have you floating away.

Lil B (aka Little Bastard) - a purveyor of fine music since he was old enough to spit his dummy out and crawl to the stereo, Lil B will play his slo-mo dub interpretations in the chill zone.

Akina Vinyl Appreciation Society - Williiam Devine will bring the heat with his impeccable taste in the dub and reggae groove. Stoked to have him on the bill with us.

We're putting in a huge high end sound system for the night courtesy of Mike at AudioSmith. The basslines will touch you in those hard to reach places that feel oh so good. We'll have a few other techy toys in the place to enlighten and raise the vibe too.

Out in the courtyard will be DJ driven chilled out dub and roots reggae for when you need to take a break from the main room action.

Featuring selections from 6 reggae/dub/ska/dancehall/jungle selectors from across New Zealand - on a massive sound system for the entire night - get along and groove to the music.

Limited to 100 tickets. First in first served.
