These Kodaly inspired music classes are designed to give children the best start in their musical journey. They will be introduced to singing, game songs, rhythm exercise, improvisation, composition, conducting and more. The classes are fun and interactive and designed especially for children.

The Kodaly Method is a way of developing musical skills and teaching musical concepts beginning in very young children. This method uses folk songs, Curwen hand signs, pictures, movable-do, rhythm symbols, and syllables.

The children will learn solfa or solfege which is used in conservatories and schools all over the world to teach music for students to sing and hear effectively. Solfege, also called “solfeggio” or “solfa,” is a system where every note of a scale is given its own unique syllable, which is used to sing that note every time it appears.
