Albany, Leith, Hyde, Clyde, Castle, and Dundas - all well known locations of student accommodation close to campus.
Join Scarfie Flats of Dunedin authors, Sarah Gallagher and Dr Chapman, on an entertaining walk through space and time where you’ll visit the sites of named flats past and present.
You will see the names in context, learning why many names are reflective of their environment, and the stories they tell. You’ll also see examples of flats with names reflecting popular culture, and others that ‘speak to’, or reference, each other.
PG13 – Please note, some signs and discussion contain mature themes, and may be offensive to some people. Be sure to wear enclosed walking shoes and wrap up warm.
1pm and 2.30pm, Sunday 1 September
