Rei
Rei, a.k.a Callum Rei McDougal (Ngāti Raukawa) is a 25-year-old multi-talented musician from Wellington, New Zealand. Currently based in Auckland, his music seamlessly bridges multiple genres, in particular, Urban and Electronic.

His recent single ‘Good Mood’ hit #1 on the US Viral 50 Chart on Spotify in December and has racked up over 1.5 million streams. Rei is touring heavily across NZ this Summer, with iconic NZ DJ’s Sweet Mix Kids. He is also playing festivals such as Splore and Huawei Summer Jam. Rei has won a number of awards for his music and has been a finalist in major categories.

He won Best Māori Urban album at the Waiata Māori Music Awards in 2015 and 2017 and the best music video award (for The Chief’s Speech) in 2016. His albums were finalists for the best engineer at the 2017 and 2018 NZ Music Awards.

Rei co-won best emerging manager in 2018 at the Music Managers Awards. He was also selected by STA Travel to represent NZ on a global scale as a part of their STA Travel Sounds project.

In 2017, Rei released his album ‘A Place to Stand’ which debuted at #1 on the NZ iTunes Hip Hop chart and #1 on the NZ Heatseeker albums chart. His video ‘The Chief’s Speech’ was also featured on international Hip Hop blog ‘Montreality’, receiving over 30k views in only a couple of days. The trap remix of his single ‘Hāti’ was also featured on TrapMusicHD, reaching over 158k views on youtube.

In April 2018, Rei released his first fully Te Reo Māori project, his EP ‘Rangatira’. The EP debuted at #1 on the iTunes World Music charts and has racked up over 100,000 streams across Facebook, Youtube, and Spotify. This young chief is tipped for big things, get on the waka while you still can..

Illbaz
Baz is a unique multi-genre DJ with appraisals from the likes of local legends Che Fu, P-Money & DJ Sir-vere for his work behind the wheels of steel, keeping the craft alive and well in Auckland City. As artist on the Redbull Sound Select roster and a list as long as his arms of previous events & support slots below.

Baz's latest creation-High Beams, showcases his unique production chops with two of the best rapper in the game - MELODOWNZ and Raiza Biza. The seven track project is about shining a light on things that are discarded or overlooked, especially living in New Zealand, a country so distant from conflicts and human injustice on a large scale.
