RKA Bride of the Year Golden Jubilee: CANCELLED

Ruahine Kindergarten Association (RKA) is thrilled to announce the upcoming 50th annual Bride of the Year fundraiser taking place at the Regent Theatre on Friday 8 November 2019.

The focus for 2019 is to raise funds to deliver Positive Parenting Programmes throughout the RKA community. Implemented through RKA facilitators, these programmes address the increasing complexities of parenting and the intensifying demands on the role of teachers and parents. Through these programmes, we strive to teach strategies to successfully manage challenging behaviors for the cumulative benefit of our 26 services, teaching teams, communities, whānau and ultimately our children.

RKA will be accepting the first 45 eligible applicants. Brides must have been married between 1 September 2017 and 31 August 2019. In addition, they must be living, or have settled during this time, within the Manawatu, South Rangitikei, Foxton or Pahiatua, to align with the regions where RKA provides vital ECE services.
