Racing Tauranga Punter of The Year Competition

So, you think you can punt? This is your shot to show us (and your mates) what you’re made of! Register now for the Racing Tauranga Punter of the Year 2019 and you could be walking away with fantastic prizes and most importantly, bragging rights.

The on-course-only competition is taking place at the Orora Kiwi Packaging Kiwifruit Cup Saturday 22 June 2019 – an epic day of racing featuring NZ’s top winter thoroughbreds running for glory. Hosted in our Tokyo Lounge with uninterrupted track views, dedicated totes, a delicious lunch, a discounted cash bar and air conditioning. We have you sorted, so all you have to worry about is backing a winner!

Punter of the Year contestants receive:
Lunch and afternoon tea in the Tokyo Lounge.
$4 and $5 beers – nice!

First prize: Free entry into the 2019 NZ Punter of the Year at Hawke’s Bay, your $1,500 stake, one night’s accommodation plus $1,000 cash

Second prize: Free entry into the 2020 Racing Tauranga Punter of the Year plus your $560 betting money.

Highest total turnover: Hospitality package for four people to a Racing Tauranga racemeeting, valued at $500.

Leader after race 3: $500 cash
Plus spot prizes throughout the day!

Terms of entry:
Contestants are required to have a betting fund of $560 ($70 per race minimum) plus $25 per person entry fee (maximum of two people per entry - $50 for two).

Entry is only guaranteed once payment has been received.
