Puti Puti In the Park

Nau mai haere mai! Join Te Rau O Te Rangi weavers Collective for a relaxed introduction to raranga (flax weaving).

We’ll meet at Paekakariki Weaving Whare at Queen Elizabeth Park, end of Tilley Road. The collective will take the group through basic tikanga of harvesting harakeke including a short walk to a pa harakeke before a hands-on session learning how to weave a puti puti (flowers) or bracelet.

No bookings required, just turn up. If wet, we will postpone to Tuesday, 19 March.
