Polly and The Minstrel

Otherwise known as Siobhan Sweeney and Nathan Torvik are a longstanding duo from Nelson NZ.
Siobhan's heartfelt vocals and original song writing, together with Nate's sensitive guitar accompaniment and virtuosic instrumental abilities have endeared them to audiences around the country and abroad.

Their 2019 summer tour will feature Siobhan's original modern folk songs alongside favourites from their wide ranging repertoire: anything from rootsy traditional folk and bluegrass flatpicking, to the baroque era, 80's pop and African grooves.

Deftly underpinned by Nate's multi-role guitar accompaniment: simultaneous chords, melody, bass and percussion.

Siobhan and Nate's onstage chemistry and relaxed and unassuming delivery makes for a warm and engaging atmosphere.
