Plimmerton and Porirua: Discovery Day Trip

You are invited to join this small-group Discovery Day Trip from Kāpiti. We'll have morning tea by the foreshore in Plimmerton and learn about some of the sites on the local Heritage Trail. Further south at the New Zealand Police Museum our host will show us some quirky features of early mug shots, we'll discuss major events of last century and have a go at fingerprinting.

After a cafe lunch we'll take a scenic drive to explore Titahi Bay and in the afternoon we'll visit the current exhibitions at Pātaka Art Gallery and Museum, which include:

- From the Shore

The tour price includes morning tea and all activities. Please note that lunch is not included in the price.

Pick up points: Various locations in Waikanae, Paraparaumu, and Paekakariki and further South. Pick up is between 9:00 and 9:45 depending on the location. Drop off: at the same locations between 3:45 and 4:30pm.

​Accessibility: The trip is taken in a comfortable 2018 12-seater mini-bus which is not wheel-chair accessible. Assistance is offered for mounting and dismounting the vehicle. Walking frames can be safely stowed in transit.
