This year is the third installment of Pedal4Prostate, the 4-hour endurance cycling event in support of the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
The event builds on the success of the previous two years and aims to be bigger than ever in 2019. Those taking part will be helping raise vital funds to help increase public awareness of prostate cancer, and improve New Zealand-based research with its diagnosis and treatment outcomes.
The 196 cyclists who took part in last year's event raised over $137,000 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation and organisers are hoping for an even bigger turn out this year!
Pedal4Prostate is open to everyone over the age of 16 and welcomes all levels of riding experience. Registrations for the event open on the 17th June so make sure you or your team are ready to enter and to start fundraising well ahead of the big day.
We are very excited to introduce some changes to the registration this year with E-Bike and Over 60s categories, and a Schools Registration (must be over 16yrs).
Register as:
- an Individual; if you’d like to give riding the full four hours a crack you can enter as an individual. You can enter under a team name if you’d still like to ride with a group.
- a 2-person team; enter as a duo and push yourself a little bit harder, both riding for two hours.
- a 4-person team; enter with your mates, work colleagues, family or biking squad. Each will ride for one hour and complete as many laps as you can as a team in four hours
