Auckland's largest Model Railway exhibition. A great show for all the family.
A mazing array of model trains will be operating all day, both days, with an large variety of layouts from the Auckland Marklin Club, Western Districts Model Rail Club, Independent American modellers, and several other clubs and individuals. Over 15 layouts in scales from the very small to the very large.
Lots of different layout scenes and some new modules exhibiting for the first time. Trains at any one time may include classic electric, diesel and steam locomotives hauling passenger trains, a coal train or mixed freight wagons spanning over a hundred years of railway operation. Locomotives with sound effects and smoke will run. Small layouts will be available for children to learn to operate themselves.
As well as enjoying the displays you have the opportunity to learn about modelling from club members and to join a club of fellow enthusiasts. All proceeds support further shows and the modelling hobby. Organised by the Auckland Marklin Club. The photos show scenes from previous shows.
