Northland Performing Arts Competitions: Ballet

A weekend of ballet competitions featuring local and visiting dancers in the Capitaine Bougainville Theatre at Forum North.

Sessions:
Saturday 14 September: 8 am, 1.15 pm approx. and 5.30 pm approx.
Sunday 15 September: 9 am, 12 pm approx.
Note: Session start times except for first sessions of each day, are approximate only. Next session start time will be announced at the end of the previous session.

Northland Performing Arts Competitions are an annual festival of dance, music and speech & drama offering a forum for children, students and adults to perform and compete against one another.

The 2019 festival sections are:
Dance
- Jazz & Tap Dance: 6 - 8 September
- Ballet: 14 - 15 September

Music
- Vocal Intermediate & Senior 13 years and over: 30 August - 1 September
- Vocal Junior 12 years and under: 14 - 15 September
- Piano & Instrumental: 21 - 22 September

Speech & Drama: 21 September - 22 September
