Nick Taylor Trio

Bassist Nick Taylor, recently returning from the USA has been performing professionally for over 11 years, having performed with many accomplished New Zealand and international artists during his career. Artists such as Roger Fox, Ray Wolf, Alan Brown, Steve Houghton, John Fedchock, Thijs van Leer (Focus) and Kym Purling to name a few.

Over the last seven years he has been touring the world primarily with recording artist Andrea Lisa. During this time he has completed many performance contracts as well as performing at festivals and well known venues such as The Royal Mougins Golf Resort in the South of France, the home of the late Pablo Picasso and Oeno Bar at the Westin Hotel in Dubai.

He has had the opportunity to open up for Grammy nominated artist Jonathan Butler as well as performing on the 2017 Smooth Jazz, Blue Note at Sea and Soultrain Cruises. An expressive well rounded bass player, an exceptional accompanist with a massive sound and engaging solo’s to match. Nick will be joined with Tom Leggett on Drums and Arjuna Oakes on Keys.
