The History of Theatre has never been so much fun.

Writer and comedian Natalie Haynes presents Honour Among Thebes, a lively tour through the early Greek Tragedies and Comedies, from the first performance by Thespis to the raucous sex-strike of Aristophanes’ Lysistrata, via the great tragedies of Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripides. Honour Among Thebes is based on Natalies much-loved book, The Children of Jocasta, which retells the Antigone and Oedipus myths through a refreshingly feminist lens.

Supported by University of Victoria Theatre Programme and The Park Hotel.
