My Name is Moana

Water, ocean, moana, music – My Name is Moana is an intimate tribute to the ocean, led by celebrated singer/songwriter Moana Maniapoto, arts laureate and a 2016 inductee into the NZ Music Hall of Fame.

Audiences loved Moana and her fellow musicians when they toured the country in 2017. Now Moana, Trina and Paddy are back, this time with Cadzow on electric and acoustic guitar. In My Name is Moana, through a mix of music, myth and personal anecdote, we discover and share our relationship to the ocean – and to each other.

Note: please dress warmly and bring a blanket.
Bar open 5.30pm. Join the Kokomai team before the show for wine and refreshments. Cash bar only.
To find Kourarau Woolshed turn off Te Whiti Road at the AA sign 'Te Wharau Road'. Then turn right at the Kokomai sign and follow signs to the end of metal driveway.
