Music Alive, Christchurch’s classical and vocal performance club presents their June concert in the Chamber Room at The Piano: Centre for Music and the Arts. Open to the public.
This month’s concert includes younger players on the violin and piano with music by Bach, Rachmaninov, Debussy, Chopin, Martinu and Mompou; A Cello Solo by Bruch; Some Russian Song; Music for the String quartet by Haydn; Solo Flute; and part of a trio for flute, violin and piano by Kuhlau. All followed, as ever, with supper and a chat.
New members welcome: $40 per annum provides free access to 8 concerts and/or the chance to play to an audience.
