Multi-Cultural Eid Adha - Festival and Fair

"Multicultural Eid Adha Festival and Fair” is a public celebration event for all communities to share the celebration with the Muslim community.

The Manawatu Multicultural Council (MMC) believes that opening up cultural and religious celebrations to public enhances the relationship between communities, reduce the gaps by enabling more understanding to the cultural differences.

The official opening ceremony starts at 10 am, followed by cultural performances and speeches about the meaning of Eid for Muslims in New Zealand.

Throughout the day there will be fun games for all age groups: scavenger hunts, inflatable slides and bouncy castles, face painting and much more.

Different cultural food and desserts will be served too. It is a free event. All welcome!!!
