Just as the Moana that connects us is vast, so too is it deep with our Knowledge, our Stories & our Mana.

We exist in a time where the landscape of indigenous issues reflects the influence of colonisation & the imbalance between kāinga, Moana & Fonua. In the face of this crisis, we see indigenous young people rise on the shoulders of our navigators, reclaiming our narrative, decolonising our environments, reindigenising our entire being & revolutionising the ways in which we do so.

Moana Loloto is a night of indigenous storytelling led by young people of Te Moana-nui-ā-Kiwa. Through creative arts & talanoa, we highlight four of the most pressing issues today to raise awareness, stand in solidarity with our kāinga & make space for conversation. All are welcome to join the talanoa.
