Mini Simmons have been busy building something very special; and it’s time to climb aboard! For one night only, Mini Simmons presents: The Rock ‘n’ Roll Time Machine. A mischievous eve of decadence spent spinning, whirring and shaking through the threads of spring’s final hour.
This year the Auckland based band have proved their chops with their first nationwide tour, tour dates through Australia, and of course playing Spark Arena as a part of the 2019 APRA Silver Scrolls Awards.
Lead vocalist Zak Hawkins: “It seems like the world is ready for Rock ‘n’ Roll again. We don’t have a single place we draw influence from so it’s a mix of classic sounds with our own stamp… simultaneously ballsy and tender.”
They’ll be joined by Smokestack Slim. Whose must-see, swinging live act will bring a honeyed, 60's psychedelia to a fervent night.
